Pascal Terrien brings a diversified experience of research and development on energy efficiency in the steel, chemical, and energy services industries to his role with EDF. EDF is the world’s leading nuclear energy company with solid positions in major European countries. Pascal and the team at EDF have collaborated with Veolia to invest in a large research program studying energy, water, environment and transport systems to address cities’ challenges and build a strong long term urban plan approach. Four years ago, Pascal founded Ecleer, the European Centre and Labs for Energy Efficiency Research with leading scientific partners in Europe. Ecleer accounts today for approximately 50 PhD students and a portfolio of €15 M of research projects.
