Brand Cities: City Building as an Export

Well-designed, connected, and diversified communities are vital to cities around the world. These attributes are particularly important in the booming cities of Asia and South America. How do cities such as Vancouver use the profile associated with their international brand, and a reputation for livability, to export development services and sustainable technologies to fast-growing international markets? This panel will explore the idea that cities can leverage their brands to both export services and attract human and financial capital.
