The global pace of urbanization and the increasing citizen demand for more efficient and responsive service delivery are combining to require new models of partnership. At the same time, the rise of big data and new technology are emerging to make it possible to manage complexity more effectively as they expand the economy and improve urban life. Cities are racing to open up data to improve both the economy and their services. What are the best practices in this area? How do smart partnerships facilitate urban economic development?
